Jeremiah 29:11-13 – “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.”
Are you wondering if you even matter at all to God? Do you sometimes wonder if you are significant at all in God’s agenda?
Friend, the truth is that God has good thoughts towards you and me. Perhaps you’ve had many trials and troubles to last a lifetime and it’s difficult for you to imagine that God considers you.
I bring you reassurance that God does care for you and he has thoughts of peace towards you. However, God is respectful of your individuality and uniqueness. He allows you to make decisions by yourself. God never forces his thoughts or himself on anyone. He provides us guidance through the Holy Spirit and through his word through which we can build our lives on. God’s good thoughts towards you can only come to pass when you follow him carefully with all your heart.
Therefore, the first step to begin to activate God’s thoughts towards you is to ensure that you are a genuine believer – and that you’ve dedicated your life to God through his son, our Lord Jesus Christ. This paves the way for you to start receiving direction and guidance to realise God’s thoughts for your life.
Say This Prayer of Salvation to Receive Jesus Christ and to become a follower.
Dear Lord Jesus,
I admit that I have not known you. I have lived my life without consideration for you and done certain things that are wrong in your sight,
I am sorry Lord; I repent today and I ask that you forgive me of all my sins and wrongs. I believe through your word that you died on the cross for me, to save me from a life that may not please you.
I come now and ask that you take control of my life from today; I give it to you. Lead me, Guide me and Help me Lord to live every day in a way that pleases you.
Thank you Lord for I know by faith that you have heard and answered me.
